Volunteer Experience

Sheena brings a strong background in arts-focused volunteer work, combining marketing, event organization, and community engagement. She has supported international organizations such as JM International (JMI), a Belgium-based global network of NGOs that empowers young people and children through music across cultural, social, and geographic boundaries. Through her work with JMI, Sheena contributed to promoting programs spanning young musicians, youth empowerment, orchestras and ensembles, and intercultural dialogue initiatives. She also served as Box Office Manager for the Aspen Music Festival & School during the 2021 summer season, volunteering her experience in audience engagement and large-scale arts administration. In New York City, Sheena worked with the Actor’s Theatre Workshop, an organization dedicated to empowering homeless youth through theatre, supporting events and outreach that used the performing arts as a tool for confidence-building and social connection.
